Bumble Inc. Activations

As a Bumble Campus Ambassador, I planned and facilitated engaging events for students across SoCal including UCLA, USC, Cal State Fullerton and beyond My largest event was a sold-out bar tab takeover at Rocco's Bar, a popular UCLA spot. I worked closely with the venue promoter to book and set up the space and market the exclusive experience to 500+ Bruin students. Once inside, students created Bumble profiles to receive free swag and drink tickets, uplifting the brand. The strategic user experience drove sign-ups while the lively atmosphere spread buzz on campus. I replicated this success with a USC disco karaoke party filling the campus bar. Whether dance parties or trivia nights, my events brought the Bumble brand to life through immersive experiences. As ambassador, I strategically facilitated FUN as a core part of my marketing efforts to organically grow engagement on- and off-line.

One of my favorite events as a Bumble Campus Ambassador was leading a "Hot Girl Hike & Picnic" in Runyon Canyon. I coordinated logistics like permitting, gear and food while promoting the experience on BumbleBFF to recruit attendees across SoCal. On the day, over 50 participants sporting Bumble swag hiked together as an embodied branding experience. I facilitated fun activities along the trail and handed out branded bandanas and merch, even to dogs we encountered! At the peak, we laid out picnic blankets and snacks while enjoying panoramic views. This event combined my passion for the outdoors with creative marketing. As ambassador, I led a memorable IRL activation that organically spread brand awareness through participation and social sharing. The hike also nurtured connections, aligning perfectly with Bumble’s mission. I learned hands-on skills coordinating large-scale events from start to finish, while cultivating community.

Tabling was a key part of my grassroots marketing as a Bumble Campus Ambassador. I regularly set up lively Bumble booths at high-traffic areas on college campuses. Equipped with eye-catching banners and plenty of swag, I engaged passing students with flowers, cookies, candy and merch. My friendly, outgoing approach encouraged students to stop and learn more about Bumble. I informed them about the app’s features for dating, friends and networking while prompting downloads. Tabling allowed me to directly interface with Bumble’s target demographic and organically spread brand awareness through real connections. While challenging at times, I honed communication skills as I put myself out there, spreading the Bumble buzz on campus after campus. Tabling ultimately proved an impactful channel to boost brand visibility and app adoption on the ground level.
